I developed an interest in the sheer power of photography while as a college student in Atlanta, Georgia in the early 1980's.

I am interested, largely, in one of America's original and unassailable art forms: JAZZ. I am enthralled by the emotional environment stimulated by live jazz performances. My offerings are portrayed in both color and black & white. (See Artist Statement: Music-Jazz-Gallery-Categories)

Also, I find the mysterious appeal of abstract expressionism within the realm of photography compelling - as it opens a window and a broad frontier for exploration – an interest of equal import. I subscribe to minimalist ideals when engaging abstract subject matter. When a chosen subject is minimized, I believe, one is afforded an in-depth viewpoint of its whole.
